A: No vessel inspection on weekends and holidays. The vessel inspection schedule is from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Request for inspection and other prior arrangements is required.

A: It depends on the net tonnage of the vessel. Please refer to the Citizen’s Charter for fees and charges.

A: The usual schedule of seminars is every Thursday (7:30 am to 12 pm). If it falls on a holiday or instances of force majeure, it may be scheduled earlier or later. An endorsement letter for a seminar from the company is required. Food handlers and stewards would be informed accordingly.

Q: Who should attend the Seminar on Basic Hygiene and Sanitation for Food Handlers and Stewards?
A: Personnel who are assigned, whether on a casual, contractual, and permanent basis, to handle, store, prepare and serve foods or drinks in food service establishments (FSE) within the port, airport areas (including VIP lounges), and inside inter-island vessels. FSE manager / supervisor, vessel chief cook, assistant cook / galley steward, and those working in in-flight catering services are also included. FSE owners are highly encouraged to attend the seminar.
